The client was operating an online store for mobile devices. They sought to handle products, inventory, and customers in AX 2012 to enable Shopify to display products with accurate stock levels in their warehouses. Additionally, they wanted to synchronize orders from Shopify to AX 2012 for streamlined management of finance and logistics.
Folio3 leveraged the Burq iPaaS to seamlessly integrate Kingfisher Mobile Limited’s Shopify store with Dynamics AX 2012 R3, addressing critical operational challenges. The integration provided out-of-the-box features, including synchronization of customers, orders, products, inventory, payments, and shipping, enabling real-time data exchange between platforms. Folio3 offered strategic recommendations on the master system for various data types, ensuring optimal configuration and accurate syncing of configurable products with variations such as colors and memory sizes. The solution automated inventory updates in Dynamics AX 2012 upon Shopify POS order creation, reducing manual intervention and minimizing errors. With the Burq connector, Kingfisher benefitted from scheduled and event-triggered updates, maintaining consistent eCommerce platform accuracy and efficiency. The Burq iPaaS team has been very accommodating to the Protect demands, always willing to help & resolve issues whenever found. All the team at Burq iPaaS have behaved in a professional manner & whenever extra consultation has been needed, you have included them in the team sessions. The team also has been very transparent on the project delivery cost & highlighted it in a timely manner. Since our initial deployment into PROD on 17/10 there has been a very small number of bugs which have been fixed in a timely manner. Overall, it has been a positive experience working with the delivery team at Burq iPaaS & I hope the relationship with the support team will be productive.
